SYNOPSIS

Shiloh

Only the good die young. But I’ve never been good.

I’ve lived a life most people only dream about. Famous men, expensive
booze, and the finest drugs money could buy. But every vice has its price,
and living a life of excess has finally dragged me down, forcing me back to
the one place I swore I’d never return.

We met in high school, but we were far from sweethearts. I ruined his life
and then walked away. Losing everything is bad enough, but crawling back to
people who wish you were dead is a nightmare.

Some say absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Not always. You either forgive and forget, or fracture and finish.

Cary

Seven years ago, Shiloh West was my world. I gave up my future for her.
Then, I spent every waking moment hating her for it. I’ve followed her
train wreck of a career in the tabloids since she drove out of town with
her nose in the air. The woman is toxic.

The fact that a judge has court ordered her back to town means nothing to
me—except maybe the payback I’ve waited a lifetime to collect. I’m going to
build her up and tear her down.

A better man would walk away. I’m not a better man. She thinks she has the
upper hand.

Think again, Starshine.

Beauty is only skin deep, but revenge goes straight to the bone.

EXCERPT

“I don’t scare you?”

“No.” She lifts her heavy lashes, tears pooling in her eyes. “You’ve seen
me at my worst, and you could’ve ended me right then. Anyone else would’ve,
but you didn’t. You don’t scare me, Cary. You’ve seen the ugly, yet you’re
still here.” Raising the back of her hand, she swipes it along her forehead
and chuckles. “I’m not sure if that makes you a saint or really stupid.”

“I’m no saint, Shiloh. I’m not the boy you kicked around in high school.
That boy died when you…” My voice trails off, and I shake my head, refusing
to rehash the past right now. “Anyway, I’m just a guy trying to make the
best of a bad situation. You have to be here, and I have to deal with you
being here. Being dicks to each other isn’t going to make the next three
years pleasant for either of us.”

“Agreed, but I still don’t understand why you did all of this.” She motions
around the empty arena. “You say you’re no saint, but, I’m no angel either.
So, where does that leave us?”

I’ve asked myself the same question at least a dozen times since bringing
her here. I can’t forgive her for what she did to me. The hate I’ve carried
with me is too deeply imprinted to forgive and forget. However, the twisted
need I have to play with her emotions makes me no better than her.

So, if we’re both demented as hell, then her question is valid. Where does
that leave us?

But why does it have to leave us anywhere? We are who we are and not a damn
thing is going to change that. Both of us have done some fucked up shit
that’s caused pain and suffering. Maybe for one day we can block out the
world and pretend we don’t hate each other.

“Even sinners and fallen angels take a break from anarchy, Shiloh. All work
and no play makes us very dull criminals.”

I skate a step, or maybe it’s four or five. Hell, I don’t know. I’m too
enthralled with the fiery look on her face to notice that she’s pressed
right up against me, chest to chest, and stomach to stomach. The frigid air
in the arena heats, and the minute I tip her head back, I know I should
stop this, but I won’t. I can’t.

“Ask me again,” I whisper, the cold air clouding around my breath.

Her chin trembles in my hand. “Why did you go to all this trouble for me?”

“I went through seven years of detox, Shiloh. But one goddamn hit of you in
a bathroom and I’m a junkie again. You make me crave more. It’s never
enough.”

SYNOPSIS

Seven Sins. Seven Days

Chandler Lexington

I need a muse for my next exhibit.

She has to be young

She has to be a virgin.

And she has to be willing to do everything I tell her to. No questions asked.

Emma Jones

Never in a million years did I Imagine that I’d be selected for this
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Now I’m being whisked away to a private
Island to spend a week alone with world-renowned painter, Chandler
Lexington.

He’s gorgeous, mysterious and eccentric.

I thought he was just going to paint me, but every seductive glance has a
secret hidden intention behind it, and I’m beginning to think this is about
more than creating art.

Heat level: Smokin’ Hot

From USA Today bestselling author Sky Corgan comes a new sinfully wicked
stand-alone dark romance novel.

Teaser1.jpg

EXCERPT

“Is that the warmest thing you brought?” Chandler looks at my attire with
disapproval.

“I hadn’t expected to be flown to the Alps,” I joke, extending my fingers
towards the fire to warm them.

“Here.” He stands and takes off his jacket, walking over to put it on me.

I blush as I slide my arms into the sleeves, thinking of how heavy it is.
More than that, of how it smells like Chandler. There’s a strong muskiness
about it with notes of citrus and rosemary. Totally money. Completely man.
I close my eyes, wrapping myself in the warmth of the jacket and the scent,
knowing that I’m wearing a stupidly content grin. This is the happiest I’ve
been since arriving here.

Chandler moves everything over to where I’m sitting. Apparently, he had
assumed I would be brave enough to sit beside him. He was wrong. I’ve been
trying to keep a safe distance because I have no idea about his personal
life—if there’s someone of the female variety in it. I want to keep things
between us as professional as possible because I want him to see me as a
professional. I want to walk away from this experience with his respect.

“I would ask you if you like port, but I can only assume you’re not a wine
connoisseur.” Chandler picks up the decanter from the table and pours us
each a glass of the liquid that’s so dark red it’s almost black.

“That I am not,” I admit.

“Dark chocolate compliments it well. You should try it.” He hands me a
glass.

The way he’s staring at me makes me nervous. He’s watching me so intently.
It reminds me of how I was gazing at his paintings in my room earlier,
studying them.

My eyes follow his hand as he picks up one of the chocolates. It’s a small
round disc, not like anything I’ve seen before, though I’m not really a
chocolate connoisseur either. More than likely, this stuff is expensive
like everything else here.

I reach out to scoop a few chocolates from the bowl, but Chandler stops me.
“Here. Allow me.”

I retract my arm, confused by his intentions until he offers me a chocolate
from his own hand, bringing it up to my lips and silently requesting that I
open my mouth. I can only hope that the darkness around us hides the heat
coming to my cheeks. I can’t believe that Chandler Lexington is
hand-feeding me chocolate. And the way he’s looking at me… I don’t feel the
cold anymore at all.

“Let the chocolate settle on your tongue, then take a drink of the port.”
His fingertips brush my lips as he slips the chocolate into my mouth. For
being so subtle, it’s one of the most sensual things I’ve ever experienced.

SYNOPSIS

Nathan

Right now Clarissa, our tour guide, is talking about prehistoric cave
paintings.

In a moment, she’ll point at the mammoth… Wait for it….

“Look at the mammoth on your right,” she says.

Told ya! I’ve done her tour six times in two months.

Everyone gawks at the mammoth.

My eyes stay trained on Clarissa’s lovely face.

After the tour, I’ll ask her out, fully expecting her to say no.

I mean, why would a hotshot Parisian archeologist go on a date with a dairy
farmer from the sticks?

But I need to hear Clarissa’s no.

Maybe then I’ll be able to forget her.

Clarissa

Nathan, aka Cowboy, is here again. Staring at me again.

I ignore him.

Just as I’ve ignored the hot, disturbing dreams I’ve been having lately.

Dreams in which a handsome cowboy undresses me.

Kisses me.

Pleasures me into oblivion.

Crazy dreams!

In real life, I’m going back to Paris to start a new job in a big museum.

The one thing I don’t need during my last week in Burgundy is a roll in the
hay with Nathan.

Even if that roll turns out to be better than my craziest dreams…

QUESTION:

What happens when a cowboy and a bluestocking get stranded in a cave with a
40,000-year-old co— er… phallus drawn on the wall?

ANSWER:

A sizzling-hot and hilarious romance, that’s what. You’ll giggle, you’ll
fan yourself, and you’ll keep turning pages until the happy end!

BLURB

I’m the wild girl whose mom decided she didn’t want to live anymore. I grew
up with a daddy who only had half a heart, in a town where everyone knows
everyone. I’ve feared love nearly my whole life because I’ve seen
first-hand what losing it looks like. It’s ugly, it’s scary and its pain is
almost unbearable. When I was nine years old, my daddy told me you’ll only
find one true love in this life.

“It’s the rarest but truest love there is, Little Miss. You find it and you
never let it go.”

But I didn’t share the chief’s feelings.

Until one summer day when a brown eyed boy with a busted lip and a smirk,
showed up in the small town of Green Ridge. Tommy Kingsley started to
change everything. The boy from the south side of Chicago taught me that
love isn’t something to be feared and that it’s the only thing that makes
everything else worth it. He gave me hope and this story tells you how.
